Hello Friends!

      My name is Brittany Bowman & I am on a lifelong journey of holistic healing through my Christian Faith & lifestyle changes. I have chosen to open up my world to everyone in hopes my story will help others in the process.      

     A few things about me: I am a foodie! I love all foods. Sushi & Italian are my favorites! I also love action sports & art. If I am not writing, painting or playing my guitar, you can catch me out surfing, Snowboarding or target shooting in the desert. Camping and me go together like Lamb & Tuna fish (Big Daddy anyone? No? Just me? Okay).

     I am, for the most part, pretty mellow. I am an introvert that has to work to be an extrovert. I am always happy & laughing. Is it any wonder that Comedy is my favorite genre of choice? I believe I have some of the greatest family & friends in the world! I would never trade them in for a million dollars. (maybe a billion? - just kidding - more like a trillion :D ).

      I have the best husband in the world who loves me for who I am through all of my crazy antics. He supports me in whatever I want to do which - let me tell you, is a lot. I am super spontaneous which means I jump around alot from interest to interest. One minute I will be doing yoga & the next minute I'll be trying to learn Japanese. Maybe even at the same time. I've been known to start something and not finish it. Whatever! Life is short - Carpe Diem!

      I love rescuing animals! All of my dogs have been rescues. I currently have 1 American Bulldog named Marley & 1 Tuxedo Cat (he was inherited from my grandfather) named Butch. Two of the best breeds I could ever ask for.

      I have an autoimmune condition called Hashimoto Thyroiditis. This has led to another condition known as Alopecia Areata. It means my body is attacking my thyroid & making my hair fall out at the same time. Fun, isn't it? This is what sparked this blog & why I am sharing with you my story. Everything else in this blog is just an added bonus. You're welcome! :)
