Hair Update

Aloha!

So it has been close to 3 weeks since I had taken that first hair loss picture in my blog post marked The Beginning. (If you haven't read it yet, go here.) I have taken 2 more since then. One less than a week ago & the other yesterday. It is very apparent the hair loss has become worse. I am not expecting any overnight miracles so missing more hair is to be expected. I cannot say it isn't discouraging but it is more of what I have come to expect.

I know I am on the right path because of the way I feel. It isn't something that can be measured by pictures. There is a remarkable difference in the clarity I feel & the energy I have. Even Jason brought up the difference he has seen in me with these past few days. He has been on this AIP journey with me, though he isn't following it to a T, he feels a drastic difference in himself than he did a few days ago. This doesn't only strengthen my hope but it strengthens my resolve to see this through. I know the Lord has put me on the right path to healing. I've never had any doubts about this chosen path but sometimes it is hard to see the light.

With knowing the hair does take up to a year to grow back, I'm not expecting to see full hair growth in that section. What I am looking for is a gradual slow down and reversal in the right direction. So far I am not seeing that. I will continue forward in prayer & with this diet. I have been looking into essential oils. I found 4 promising essential oils that I will be trying in the near future. I will be keeping track of my progress, whether it works or doesn't work, here on my blog. Right now I am still doing more research on the subject so it will be a little while longer before I move forward on that path.

Below are the pictures I have taken from beginning to current. You can see it is getting worse but I believe it will get better.
